For those who don't know:

Rocky Frisco is the Little Big Man of rock. He's met and played with
them all; he bought Elvis his first burger, told the Big Bopper that on
a night like this it'd be better to take the plane, and said to Jimmy
Dean 'I bet she'll go like a bomb if you open her up on the straight!'
He's a great writer, too -- not many people know that.

But most of all, when I arrived at a godawful hotel in Madison late one
night in 1996, after a day living on airline prezels, and found that
nothing in or around said hotel was doing food, Rocky (who at that time
was a detectable percentage of my US readership) shared his cold pizza
with me.

For that alone, he deserves another fifty years.
